About My Business & How I Got Here
My name is Ashlynn, and I am the owner of Nurtured Blossoms Doula Care, located in the San Antonio area. I am a mom of two and both of my postpartum experiences, while very different, made me realize the value of having quality support during the postpartum period. As a postpartum doula, my job starts once you bring the baby home. As a doula I am there for you in many ways, whether that is educating on newborn care, giving breastfeeding or bottle feeding techniques, helping with daily household chores, giving mom and dad an hour break, putting together nutritious snacks in your home, giving needed referrals to community resources, or just being a listening ear. It is my goal to make the transition to parenthood or the transition of adding an additional baby as smooth as possible and make you feel like you have the support you need. For me the postpartum period is during the first 12 months of baby's life. So even if your baby isn't a newborn, you can still receive needed support.
