About my business and how I got here

To me, altering wedding gowns is more than excellent sewing skills and mastered technique. It’s about building a relationship with my bride and understanding her desires, so I can have the privilege of delighting her with a perfectly tailored wedding gown. I offer bridal alterations, gown cleaning and preservation, bridal foundations and onsite seamstress services for your wedding.

Bridal Alterations

Bridal Alterations includes but isn’t limited to: hems, increase/decrease bodice and chest areas, removing or adding lining, adding a corset back, making a custom over skirt, adjusting straps, adding or removing sleeves and more!

Wedding Gown Cleaning and Preservation

Gowns are hand cleaned and repaired for preservation. I use museum quality, acid-free boxes for generations of safe keeping.

On-Site Seamstress Services

Regardless of where your wedding is and how large or small of a bridal party you have, an onsite seamstress is going to make the difference in your peace of mind. Hannah Q Tailoring focusses on YOU and your gown. We can release stress from the maid of honor and mother of the bride so they can fully enjoy and celebrate your wedding with you. We bring sewing machines, lace, threads, zippers and so much more. We are prepared for any apparel emergency and are ready to make sure you look amazing in your photos!
