About my business and how I got here
At Elm Rose Designs we specialize in making handmade toys and games that are perfect for your little ones! Pick from one of our signature puzzles- Dinosaurs, Outer Space, or ABC’s, or pick a custom puzzle with your child’s name. Production time is 1-2 weeks depending on how busy we are. Local orders can be picked up or we’re happy to ship your item to you as well! We also do lots of custom orders varying from engraved cutting boards to meaningful wall hangings. Custom Name Puzzle
These custom name puzzles are the perfect gift. Pick a color combo for the letters and a stain for the wood. Don’t see a color scheme you love? Let me know what you had in mind and I should be able to accommodate the request. Each puzzle is 5.75” tall by 11.5” long. Letter size will vary slightly depending on the length of the name, but won’t be smaller than 1”x1”.

This handmade puzzle measures 11.5”x11.5” and is 1/4” thick with pieces that are 1/8” thick. All materials used are nontoxic and child friendly. It has been sealed with a waterproof finish as well.

This adorable mini puzzle is the perfect toy to help your little one learn shapes and colors. It measures 6”x6” with pieces that are about 1.5”x1.5”. Each puzzle is made with non toxic parts and has been sealed with a waterproof finish.

DIY Names of Christ Christmas Ornaments
These wood ornaments come in a set of 9 (9 fronts and 9 backs), each with a different name of Christ across it. They come raw and unfinished, ready for you to paint and make your own! Ideas- *Paint the pieces and glue together *Use scrapbook paper as a background behind the names (cut 3.75” circles) *While you can use any paint/glue on these, I recommend Folk Art acrylic paint (there is more pigment in them than other brands and therefore are less likely to need second or third coats) and Gorilla Glue. Modge Podge can be used as a top coat to seal them if desired, as can several wood sealants found at home improvement stores. If you have any questions about making these, please ask and I’ll see what I can do to help!
